Okay, heiig zayim heilig alaf, eis reish samach Beis That's it. Now we're going to discuss in great detail Yeah, we're skipping the haggos We're now going to discuss in great detail. What is the definition of clippas nogo? As you will recall up until now What we said about Klipa's Noga was that it is in Erbovya. What does the word Erbovya mean? An add mixture of Tov and Ra. And we said that what is its source? It comes from Yeh Tzadas. Yeh Tzadas was a mixture of Tov and Ra as you should recall. Okay, ah Nefesh hachiyunis ha bahamis Shem Yisrael shemitzara kleepo hamu beshis bedamah Adam kinizkilah el The Nefesh HaChiyunis what does the Nefesh HaChiyunis guys mean what is Q units mean gives life the animating soul Okay, so the animating soul of the animal part of the person meaning namely what when we say the animal part of a person We mean your physicality, okay

Comes from Kleipa and it is Mevos as we said earlier in the first perek of Tanya it is adorned where? In your blood okay, so literally when we speak about your blood being your life force. What do we mean? Deal with it after us. Yeah, this is what we're up to Correct we literally mean the blood that animates your body cover what happens if your body drains from blood you die right so the blood that V'nephaschos Behemos Vechayos Ve'ophos Ve'dagim tahirim umutar embaachilah What else is from Klippas Noga? Not only is your body from Klippas Noga, meaning the body of a Jew, but also for those of you All of the souls of Behemos, Chayos, Ophos and Daggim Tahirim, meaning all the animals, all the birds and all the fish that are Tahr, that are pure. Umutarim ba'achilah Why is something allowed to be eaten? The reason it is allowed to be eaten is because it comes from Klippas Noga.

V'kilum vehicleayus choladomens vicholat someach buterba hila And not only that, but let's say for example what about vegetation? What makes certain vegetation mutter to eat? The reason it's mutter to eat is because it emanates from Kleipas Noge. So what chassidus tells us, what the malatani is teaching us is whenever you look at a thing in this world V'chaim qiyun duchaius kolam mysed yibiram akshavab yanya niyol mazzan She'en b'hem sad Yisrael loshoresh v'loanaf yishasam yitzvah loshasev anf'en d'arayesu d'arabonam Rakh she'en l'shaim she'mayim elorotan adguf gefeshev tavaso Let's take it the next step. So far we've spoken about things outside of ourself, meaning your physical body, okay? Or animals, fish, vegetation, birds, all that that comes from Klibas Noga is muttir b'achihwa. But not only that, let's say all of my actions, all of my speech, and all of my thoughts, maisah

dibramashav, I'm going in this world, meaning, for example, how I eat or how I do business. So there's no isir in doing business on any level. There's no problem with doing business. If you look at the Torah, do you see any Israel on any level? On the Dorisa level or the Abaddon level of doing mitzvahs? Of doing business? Of course not. There's no problem with doing mitzvahs. But maybe it's only Ratzon HaGof. Meaning, maybe I'm not doing business for the sake of being M'kadesh Shem Shemaliam. I'm not doing it for the Abishter. Who am I doing it for? I'm doing it for myself. V'afilu hutzorech ha'goth v'kiyumu b'chayu s'mamish Eleshekavannosu ein elesheim Shamayim kedei labrassasham b'guffa Let's say it's actually necessary. For example, eating. Everyone has to eat, right? So the question is, why are you eating? If you're eating is L'shem Shamayim because you want to be able to serve Hashem and I need food to sustain myself in order to serve God, that means one thing.

If I'm eating for the sake of my tava, for the sake of just being animalistic about it, i.e. if a person goes to Papagayos, right? So the point of Papagayos, if you get the Brazilian table, whatever it's called, yeah, if you get that, the point does not, no I'm pretty sure you're right, The point is not to sustain yourself, right? Everyone knows that. The point is not to sustain yourself, right? Because if that were the case, right? You guys know how it works. There's a green, there's like a little like chachki that has green on one side and red on the other. And when it's pointed to red, then the waitresses know or the waiters know not to bring you meat. And when it's pointed to green, they know to just keep bringing over and they bring these giant skewers who you guys been there for. They bring these giant skewers with massive amounts of meat and they just shave it off until you tell them to stop. And they keep coming over.

I'm going to have a new course, a new course, a new course. So what's the goal of that? The goal is not to sustain yourself. What's the goal? Let's see how much goodness I can fit inside of myself. By the way, that's why, yes, you should know, the nicest part about babagayos is the bathrooms. The bathrooms there are immaculate. You know why they have to do that? Because of what's going on there. They have to make sure that there's people cleaning the bathrooms every 15 minutes. No, because it's really disgusting if you think about it. I'm not going to tell you I haven't done it, of course I've done it several times, right? And I've done it with other good guys, but let's say, so that's the difference, right? You have to ask yourself, and only you can know authentically, are you going to Papagayos as like, this is a devar mitzvah, right? Or are you going for a siam, it's appropriate to have delicious food, but then you have to ask yourself, is the amount of food that I'm eating an appropriate amount of food?

There's nothing wrong with having one brownie. Is there something wrong with having one tray of brownies? Yeah, Toviyel. I was wondering about a certain example such as the poker suki's break. I was going to talk about it as it's time to relax and take a break for everything. L'OADFI MEISFROM So if i want to teach you a little louder then you should learn something new tonight. This is 100% neutral, no, this is one-hundred percent neutral. There's nothing wrong with eating food There's nothing wrong with eating kosher food, there's nothing wrong with it. All of it comes from Kllaipas Noga. There's nothing wrong with Your motivating force is going to be what? Is going to be appropriate. Now, lo Adi Fei mei sedibar ama'chavas eilu mein Nefesh Chihiunas ha-Bahamiz Ba'atsma. When it comes to all these actions, all this speech, all the thought that you did without Kavan al-Asham Shammayim, even though there was no tzad isr, but what is its source? Its source is in the Nefesh ha-Bahamiz because Because the only reason the Nefesha Bahamis acts is to serve God. So once something is outside

of the realm of serving God, what is it sourced in? It's sourced in Nefesha Bahamis. So if you're eating for the sake of eating, is that godly? That's animalistic, right? If you're doing business for the sake of kavod, that's animalistic. Those very same activities, all All you have to do is what? Channel your intellect, ask yourself truly what is the motivating factor behind this and then it redefines the entire action. That's how you know if something is appropriate or inappropriate. So you start off, you have a graph in front of you. First of all, is this mutter or asr? Or you can say it a little bit differently. Is it a mitzvah, Is it mussar or is it asr? That's step one. So you say this is not a mitzvah that I'm dealing with and it's not asr. Right away what are we in, Rabosai?

We're in Kleepeos Noga, so it's in the realm of mutter. Now what's the question? This parv, neutral activity, where is it sourced? If it's eating for the sake of eating, then it's sourced in Nefeshe Behamis. If it's eating for the sake of, if it's eating for the sake of, Shammai. What does that mean, Shammai? It means for the sake of doing what I was created to do, right? Then what's then all of a sudden the activity is sourced in my Nefeshe Lo Kis. V'ha kol kashir, la kol nishbav, enim shachm, madre gashaynus Shabbakleipos. V'zit zher achra, she kleeper luviyyis, HaNikr Klibas Noga actions or speeches or thoughts that are low on the shame of Shamayim. Qiyum um b'chiyusam ha'imim madreigah hashenis. Their kiyom, their sustaining force in this world comes from what we call the second level. Shabbat kleipos vistreachra, she kleipar viyas. The second level namely

what? The fourth kleipa. What's the fourth kleipa guys? Remember we had shlosh kleipos Shostos Atmeyos The Three Unholy Klipos and this Klipa is what? The fourth one, a new level which is called Klipas Noga. I want to make sure you guys get this. Mike, you want to switch seats with me for one second? Do you mind? I'm just going to use the board. Yeah? Do you mind? Not part of the Shlos K These things, let's make sure we get it on the first truck. What we're discussing here is the realm of mutter. So we're not talking about anything that has any Shemitzah answer. So if you say to me, Rebbe, what about pork? Not disgusting pork, right? And if you say to me, what about like a mitzvah? Not disgusting a mitzvah either. We're just in the realm of mutter. Okay? Where does mutter come from? So mutter comes from kleepah. Okay? But, kleepah has multiple categories. Okay? The first category is what we're calling the shlosh, kleepos, atzmeyos.

That's the first one. That's the first three. This is the second category called Kripas Noba. So it's within the realm of Kripa, but it's Kripas Noba. It's not from Shlosh Kripas and Tamayos. So all the things that are mutter, whether it's in the realm of actual objects, meaning like mutter food, Tov, right, birds, animals, fish, things like that, or even in the realm of actions. Lets flip that up. Objects, right, or, we'll call the labushim, the 3 labushim. One of the 3 labushim Rambo Said, aside from libel anybody know? One of the 3 labushim? Shabbat Dibber Amaisim, Shabbat Dibber Amaisim Get it in Hebrew, get it fast, Shabbat Dibber Amaisim So whether or not, we're talking about objects of L'Hushim, and even if these L'Hushim are shalom, mashiim shama'yim, okay? Meaning they're not focused on Godliness. What's their source? Their source is Shabbos Nohom Tz

I don't know what most people do to make a part in us so that not everyone can distinguish your mind. Wait a second. Why is Pranav Shoshololu Shem Shammai? They're not having a mind when they're working. Sometimes they do because they want to have it. Wait. Oh, oh, oh. So now you're making up. Now you're making up. If you're making money to send your kid to a Jewish private school, that's 100%. Right. So now you're asking a very good question. What you guys are raising is, what level of intent do you need? Right? We all agree that there used to be some attempt. The question is, as Arun was saying, one second. If I wasn't sending my kids to a Jewish private school, if I didn't need to have kosher food, if I didn't need to buy them a no-roar and put Shabbos food on the table, I could get a job working for 50 grand a year of Be Rich.

Especially in some places. You go outside of the New York, New Jersey area, you want to move somewhere in middle America, you want to make 50 grand a year and send your kids to public school and just eat whatever is in the local stock and shop, Ravi, you're probably gonna be fine, right? So the very fact that you're saying, no, I need a job that's gonna pay me $250,000. Maybe that is intent enough. But then Rafi comes back and he goes, let's be honest with you, sometimes we just want nicer cars, and nicer houses, right? And so, and I think probably that's what Joey meant also, right? So the question is, how much intent do you need? Togia? Can you give an example of, but it was a good example, of pushup. Mach Shabbat Dibre Meisom Meisom doing business. I have a shame to mind for Shabbat Shabbat to mind. So wouldn't this help? So if we have a little bit of a shame to mind, we can just have one mind? Yes, let's say. Wouldn't that follow under the other objects?

No, because I'm multiple. I'm the action itself of doing business. Right? It also has a source. This action is a wonder action. But it comes to like, for example, eating by hammer, a kosher hammer. Wouldn't that be the active eating? Yes, but there's two things. There's eating and then there's the object that I'm eating. Right? So both are under conversation. Right? One is the active eating is mutter. Right? Perhaps not a mitzvah in this case. Let's say... Active eating. Seventh eating, I think, kosher eating. Correct. In other words, there's two things. There's something that's... We're not getting, we're not talking about mitzvah. Just on a regular Monday night. Or, let's say, Sunday? Regular Sunday night. Do I have a mitzvah to eat tonight? No, I don't have any particular mitzvah to eat tonight. And then, aside from my action at Muzher, I have no fear to do it. What about the food itself? There's no inherently spiritual about that food. It's not user, it's just Muzher.

So when it comes to doing business, you say that also is a worship and an object? Eretz Yisrael Eretz Ha tutorial there. Who says that's not Lushaim Shammayim? No, no he's saying if you're using it Shollal Lushaim Shammayim. He's making a statement about the kavana of the person. Not that it has to be the kavana of the person. Give us a case. We haven't said anything yet. Or just getting it lined up. Just getting the categories lined up. So far so good. Dobi how you doing? With Tyre today. Aaron how you doing?

What am I missing? They're on the same room. Yeah, I've um... What time did the pair of you go to sleep last night? Did the pair of you go to sleep last night? What time did you wake up? You should be well rested. There's something I'm missing here. Okay, doesn't matter. So now, this is what we call Kliper Avias. Why is it called Kliper Avias, Rebosai? Because, what's this side? What's this side? The Shloshe Kliper Avosatreos. Skip down to the second to last paragraph on the page. See it? Page Reish Samahe. Skip down to the second to last What is Noga? Noga hu'inyin ha'arav v'zreicha Noga means like ha'arav, like zareach, you guys know what that means?

Like teshine, right? Like zar'ch ha'ashamish is the shining of the sun, the rays of the sun. Chlamar B'nigud as opposed to Le Shlosh Kleepos at Tameos Shabbah Henn Eintov Over here we're talking about the Shlosh Kleepos at Tameos, no Tov whatsoever. Okay? Or Eloki, there's no godly light, klal. Lefishein kimo Kleepokashche, ha-machasol L'Gamre Elorakadusha This is like a watermelon rind. Kleepa means a shell. Specifically what type of shell are we speaking about here? A thick shell that totally conceals the inner light of God that's within it. Of course, everything has an inner godly light. But because we're talking about a thick shell, the godly light cannot be accessed. Okay? One second. Hine kleepazu yeshba gamm kentov. As opposed to that watermelon rind, this kleepa in itself already has a bit of goodness to it. V'lach hain Nikra Noga, v'lafisha ha'ghamshi Kleepah mikomatam Eshashay Yisraq Bar'ar El-Okii So what's fundamental to know about Kleepah's Noga is that there's two types of K, there's two types of Kleepos.

Kleepah's, a Kleepah that comes from the Shlosh Kleepos Hatmeyos, okay? That would be like a watermelon. And here's why I'm saying it's like a watermelon. Because you can't tell anything about the watermelon from the shell. Meaning if the watermelon is not ripe, the shell doesn't tell you that. Right? It doesn't really. Meaning you can put it on your shoulder and you can weigh it and you can listen to the water content inside but it's not from the shell. You hear the difference? There's nothing about the shell that indicates the fruit. However, when we're talking about klebas nova, Nodu would be more like an apple skin, right? Why is the, why is it different? Because the apple skin tells you something the fruit itself projects through the skin of the apple. Correct. In other words, even though we're not saying, even though we're not saying by the apple skin that the skin itself is the, is what's important, but the skin is a medium of vehicle for what's

One is events inside of it. So klifa's no-go in you look at these foods right let's take for example pork. Pork is shlosh convert muz a thornos Meaning is there godliness inside of pork is there a spark of godliness inside of pork yes yes like everything that is the will of God it is sustained by God. But, what would you say about the pot? And therefore, it has no you have no access to it. As we're going to see in a moment, there's no way to access it. So is there ever going to be a time when Hashem brings out a kusho in the port? There is no way to access it. I'm going to get to your question in a minute. For right now, there's no way to access it. But when it comes to kosher food, right? What would you say then? You can access it. That's what's critical. Meaning the kalipa itself.

You can't say it's pure godliness because it's still hidden, but what? It's accessible. So far so good? Yeah? Non-kosher food, totally shloshlihvosot meos, nothing to talk about. Meaning, klippah's noga is a balance. On the one hand it's klippah and therefore you're saying the godliness is not present. On the other hand, teskliyvaz Noga, which means it's accessible. Noga literally means that's what he says. Zrechah. Like Harul. Like shining through. Transparent. Not really transparent, but it has the opportunity for transparency. Yeah? Opaque maybe? There's opaque. Translucinor. No, you think, opaque. Oh man. Yeah, I'm not 100% sure what the English word is. But you have what I'm saying? There are things that their godliness is obvious. The oral oki is present. It's not hidden in anyway. There are things that the Ora velokhi is totally concealed, like the watermelon. Klipa is caution and then there's 99% of the things in this world which are clippas nova meaning hidden, but accessible Okay Aarun Is the majority of food kosher or not kosher?

I would say kosher Sure Most feeces do have fins and scales to my knowledge I think we're just kind of used to the commercialized things that we can't have. Most fish are kosher. My father told me that lobster is awesome. He says like, there's one thing he said lobster is like amazing. Alright. He liked White Castle too. I'm never down for White Castle. Okay. Okay. Next page. Reish Samagvav Shabba olamazah ha nikra olamazah. Rubel kukuloh shalu olam ra. When you look at our world, We're going to find many madraips. This was very important. Guys remember we're in the world of categorizing now. So as we categorize you need to know not only what category the things belong to but you need to know the distinct differentiations between each category. In this world which is called the Olam Ha Asiya. Why is it called the Olam Ha Asiya guys? The world of action. Why is that? Remember? Because we had four worlds. What were the four worlds? There was Atzilos, Berea, Yevas, and Chassidus Burya Yitzira and Asiya Our world is the lowest world which is the world of action.

Okay? You weren't here for that. Okay, so you got to do it. Are you listening to those you have to catch up? Or you haven't started yet? Okay, so there's four worlds. Our world is the lowest world. In this world, which is the world of action, most things, he says, are right. Okay? Okay, so it goes as follows in the world of Kleeppas Noga. There's many Madreigos Okay in terms of the quantity of Tobin Ra, okay, and it depends on the world in which you find yourself, okay, because Everything we're talking about is Kleeppa. Everything we're talking about is that which conceals the light of God That's creation by itself as you have me that's creation itself creation itself conceals the light of God Ra Okay, what's that because by by definition? Everything we're talking about is to hide the realm of God So now once we get into this world, which is the physical world, right?

That's going to be the ultimate place of the hiding of God. So mostly what are we going to encounter in this world guys? We're going to encounter Kleeper However, when we say that what we mean is from the natural perspective of this world it hides goblins Hidings of Godliness That's correct. So I attempt to interpret that sentence? Yes. So... What was that? That's correct. In other words Ra means the lack of the lack of cognition of the godliness of this world. Makes sense? Okay now... what was that? Yeah meaning the thing itself doesn't project that awareness. When you look at a Shabbat tabbel, you don't think God, there's a reason for that. It's because the godliness that's within, the godliness that's imminent within creation does not present itself. It's not obvious to you. Right? That make sense? Jonathan, make sense?

Yeah, I feel like we've conditioned ourselves that way though. It sounds like he's speaking from a very like perspective that like, so since he can steal his godliness, it's considered wrong, but like, you think of that like awesome Rebbe that like, you're so amazing, like you're so much godless, and you've got like that watermelon and such a treasure inside of it, but like it's considered based around. But if you look at it from a different perspective, like there's such a, there's such a kiddushah there because it's... Rosh Hashem has a big heart, it's a big heart. It's a big heart. It's a big heart. It's a big heart. You have to be innocent but there are things that don't have kedushah... The other world's awesome is not kedushah. Yeah, nowhere. It's not like it's only in this world that's robbed. We're looking at this world from a lens of like most things are not necessarily good.

Tanya Rebbe is not speaking negatively, not speaking negatively. Rathos means the concealment of godliness, he's not saying it's bad. He's saying most things in this world, which is true. When you look at this cup, you don't think God. Again, either people in this world How do we do? Probably... not me. You have a smirk on your face. I don't know if I should call you. Me? Smirk? I should know. If this comes back to Bechira, I'm just kicking you out. Why are some things like... Ra? Same thing. Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Like I understand why good was great. For example, you know, Shamm's being all good and infinite creates usually good things that happen when they're done. But when you're creating things that have, that are, that where Hashem is hidden in them, why are, why is he creating things like pork versus things like that?

What's amazing, the answer to this question is actually free will. Well think about it. I know you didn't, that's why I'm laughing. Unless you did, in which case you're a jerk. It's because by definition God is creating something other than himself. It's not that God created evil, he created otherness. The reality of otherness is that it's going to contain that which hides God. Why is pork worse than a cow? What did the pig do that the cow didn't do? The creation of something called otherness is going to be a reality that contains things that hide him and therefore are within the realm of evil So the lowest order will be like the farthest away from the shofar sha'am in the park? That's correct. It's not anything to do with pork. It could have in theory it could have been anything but it's irrelevant because that's what it is.

Laidom. I'm confused. Are we saying that stuff from Shabbat, we're supposed to have no godliness or is that it's so... There's no accessible godliness. That's correct. Everything in the world is sustained by God, so everything has a Godly eminence. But the Godly eminence that exists within that pork is irrelevant to us, as we're going to see in a minute. It's getting a little bit of out of resource. It's irrelevant because you cannot access it. It's bechhefze, to use Lambda Shird terminology. It's bechhefze inaccessible, regardless of what I want to do to it. Rafi! So is the godliness of the sport only like the necessary sparse means exist? That's correct. It's necessary but ultimately unimportant. But other than that there's no other godliness. That's right. Yes. So, kedusha is your sensible godliness? Yes, that's exactly right. Kedusha is transparent godliness. It's not just transparent. There's no klepa. There's nothing that has to shine through.

It's objectively godly. Why would you say that? It seems like you said that Korg has no kedusha as opposed to something. It has no kedusha. It doesn't mean it has no godliness. As opposed to something like a cup. Right. The cup is no-ga because it's within the realm of kalipa. There's no obvious godliness, but there's accessible godliness. No, I wouldn't call it kedusha. Kedushah is transparent godliness. I would call this mutter. That's what it is. It's a function of the otherness of this existence. There are things in this existence that are so other than God that their godliness is not accessible. You see, literally you're getting into a good philosophical question of what's the role of those things, which is an important question, and we'll deal with it. But, Joey, even for right now, you don't need to run Why did God create pork? Why did he create this? The point is there are things in this world that are going to hide godliness. That's a part of what gives you you. You could not be you if there were no hidden godliness. You'd just be a robot. You have to appreciate that point. The fact that you have the personality that you have with the capacity to deny God The God in this world is a function of free will. The otherness of God. I reserve the right...

Exactly right, that's exactly correct. That is a radical idea. Yet to really appreciate the move that the author ever made here. Rach me'at Tov me'uruv bitocha shammi mena bause midas tovos shabbat nefesh avaham teshuv Yisrael Kommosh Nisbala Il Within Klippas Noga, which is mostly mostly Ram, mostly concealed godliness. Nefeshe bahamas Nefeshe bahamas

R.I.T.T Mevaser N deshokam tearsim Thank you. Thanks, I appreciate the support. You're welcome. I appreciate that. Here, I'll take this. I'm here for you too. So goes his follows.

The previous Rosh Yeshiva of Mevaseret, the founding Rosh Yeshiva, one day he was in a particular mood. We all showed up to Sheer unprepared. He had given us the night before, he left off Sheer with a question. And we were supposed to spend the night, spend the rest of the day thinking about the question, prepare all morning for the question. Of course none of us did any of that. So we come to Sheer. Teshir Interfersons Yestas Hey guys, what's the answer to the question? Crickets, silence, nobody says a word. Guys, nobody thought about the question. All afternoon, all night, all morning, nobody thought about the question. None of us have thought about the question. We're all quiet. One guy, Eric, he was the guy that always opened his mouth, you know Rebbe was a really good question. So I'll never forget. If Bresnan looks at him and he goes, thank you so much for letting me know that it was a good question. You know Roshol Vaychek's signature on Mysmikha is rubbing out. Maybe you'd like to sign in his place. And everyone in this year was like, oh, he just like to be out of town. It's much less than what I did to you. Yeah?

Okay, so go to the finals. The kleepas gogo viju. I'll stand up. I'll elevate myself. The kleepas gogo viju, what would you say about it? Most of it Naturally is going to be in survival mode. What's critical about that guys? You gotta know if it's naturally in survival mode Most of us struggle to survive. Five percent. What's the five percent of your Nefesheb Ahamas? That it, in itself, is going to have me those totals. Meaning, it's going to rise above its own narcissism to give to another. Ramaan Bemmakshirigat the nature of anything that struggles to survive is narcissistic Anybody here a lifeguard? Okay, what's the number one thing they teach you when someone's drowning? No Reach No Reach or throw? But don't go you are a wonderful person, but not such a good life What happens if you go and a person is drowning, what are they naturally going to do to you? They're going to pull you under. You don't want to be in that system. So ideally, if someone is drowning, throw something to them. If you're able to.

Before I do this, I'm going to show you what I'm going to be able to. First of all, number 1, if I can be holding on to a boat, I can be holding on to the side of the pool or something, right? I stick out my hand, let them grab onto my hand and I'm not really there with them in the water. Right? Or I throw in a flotational device, and I'll pull them back because once a person is drowning, they're in a struggle to survive, what are they going to do? They're going to pull you down with them. So what's the Nefesheb Ahama gonna do? Naturally, how is the Nefesheb Ahama is going to treat others? In the Jewish situation, the Nephish Abahamas have the capacity to reach above itself and prioritize another. That's not a learned behavior as it would be with a Gentile.

It's a natural behavior. For those of you that think that the Tanya is saying that you can't have good guidance, is that true? Of course not. He is saying that in order for a goy to be good he has to rise above his natural nefesh habahamas Whereas for a Jew you don't need to rise above your natural nefesh habahamas necessarily, though you might need to But even the nefesh habahamas itself has a quality where it's capable of mee-do-stonemus Yes? So we discussed with the last year that there's a link to the mee-do-stonemus that can't appreciate something, not the world of transcendence Correct. It can't appreciate something in the world of transcendence, meaning when the Nevishev Ahammis looks at food, it's going to naturally desire the food for the sake of desire itself. The Nevishev will kiss and see the transcendent mitzvah. Yeah, we just said that the Nevishev can kiss and the pomoleum should have a sweet Interesting connection, I'm not sure that's what Tanu is saying. Joey!

So for Naju, he has to go against his nature and push down his nefeshah bahamas? Right, because we all do that, right? In other words, I'm saying... I'm going to push down other people. No, we do that. That's our nefeshah bahamas. Our nefeshah bahamas naturally, like Joey, when you see someone from a nefeshah bahamas perspective, you would think to yourself, how can I use that person? Right? Like, Umm... Like, cool by association, let's say, right? So, like, that guy's cool, I wanna be his friend. Not cause I wanna be his friend, but because if I'm in the crowd, I'll be cool by association. So then what are you really doing? You're not connecting the other person, You're Neve Shabbat Hamis is just struggling to survive by using the other person. Where as the godly soul would say, I don't care about looking cool, I care about being connected.

The Neve Shabbah Hamis has to be overcome. In a Gentile it has to be completely overcome. Meaning the Gentile who wants to be a good person, a righteous Gentile, who in our world by the way goes to Olam haba. You guys know that right? The Ram Bampaskans that are righteous Gentiles goes to Olam haba. You do not need to be Jewish in Judaism to go to Olam haba. By the way not so in Christianity. No, not easier. It's a totally different mission. Right? It's not a question of In Jesus' name, it's not a question of Allah Baba. In Christianity, if you don't accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you cannot gain entrance into heaven. In Judaism, just because... What was that? That's correct. If you don't accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, in Christianity you will not be allowed into the pearly gates. St Peter will not welcome you in.

Are you in? In Judaism, a Gemtile, meaning someone who is not Jewish, or a righteous Gemtile, meaning he doesn't have to keep Shabbas, keep kosher. Shabbat hampered levatim shabbat shabbat Tanya shabbat Tanya shabbat Tanya shop, and She needs to know what human beings are doing. So the Shebahamas is naturally good. So it's a different type of struggle. Tovyeh. So the

Prayatizing someone over yourself Chassidus Nimesavusai and it corrupts all those dal Yisraelis, all that is true, still remains the capacity for goodness. Jonathan. Until now I was understanding that the Kripas logo of Jew and the non-Jew is fundamentally the same thing and then what makes the Jew special is his metashal keshe. Right? His godly soul. So, what we're saying is different that the preposter of the Jew has more time than the preposter of the Almighty? No, we're saying that the guide is not emanating from preposter of the Almighty. He is emanating from Shloshe Compose Yisrael. And we're not? That's correct. In other words, the nephesh wavelength is critical. We're dealing with the Nephesh wavelength. So specifically about Nephesh wavelength. So the Nephesh wavelength of the Jew is from preposter of the Almighty.

And by the way, this is the shared humanity that a Jew and a Gentile have. We both have a Nefesha Bahamis. What makes a Jew unique is our Nefesha Likis. But even within our Nefesha Bahamis, there's a distinction between the Nefesha Bahamis and the Jew and the Nefesha Bahamis. Nefesha Bahamassuv Gentile The Nefesha Bahamassuv Gentile totally needs to be overcome in order to prioritize someone above yourself. Whereas the Nefesha Bahamassuv Jew does not necessarily need to be totally overcome. Even within the Nefesha Bahamassu you can access the dimension of goodness. The Hainu to prioritize someone over yourself. Sami? Okay, so if you said that the Nefotabah namas of the non-Jew is Shabbos, that means that you're not able to access the godliness in that. So how would they be able to overcome something? Okay, great question we're gonna get. Let's just make sure everyone understands.

Sami's asking, because it's a great question, Sami's saying where does the Gentile get the capacity to overcome? Right? Because we're saying we're not able to. What was that? Because we're not able to. We are able to. For the Shabbos people. For the Shabbos people. Shabbat teshuvah Surah Baruch tzedakah but only because I wanted my name on the, you know, right? You have people like that. You guys know that you have, like, wealthy philanthropists that they have these foundations but really what's it all about? It's about PR. Right? So I'm not saying that it doesn't. I think it exists, well I think it exists any place you find Neffisha Muhammad you're gonna find that. Right? I mean, I've never seen a shoulder male in my life. I don't know, that's exactly the point. The question is, no, what's the motivation of that person? If the motivation of that person is they're legitimately, like I know people that have donated a lot of money, they don't want their names on any buildings, but they were told by Bigedaylim that they have to have their name on buildings, because it inspires others to give tzedakah. They didn't want to.

On the other hand, I've met people that, I met one person, at Baruch Ha'an, I haven't met a lot of people like this, I was soliciting a donation for an organization called Tovah, which stood for total revival alternatives. It was in the five towns. And it was an organization that was doing mentoring with kids, who were at risk for being at risk. So it was a mentorship program to work with those kids. I think it still exists. You did? So I solicited a donation from a very wealthy man in the five towns whose son was in Tovah. And I thought... What was that? The kid was a mentee. Okay, so I thought this was gonna be a shuwe. His older kids at Donal Tzedarech, here we were, we were an organization that was helping the kid. We're first response, right? We're there before anybody even gets there, right? This is to make sure that your kid has a big brother growing up, somebody that he can look up to. I thought this was gonna be a shuwe. This is a guy who writes, you know, $25,000 checks, no problem. And came to his door with the person who founded Tovah. We were there together. I'm like, all excited.

He is one of my first fundraising trips ever. It's going to be awesome. He said, I'm sorry, this is not my thing. This is not your thing. Your family is getting from this. I have my things, this is not my thing. And we walked out very disappointed. The person I was with, the founder of Tovah, he said to me, it's because you can't put your name on a kid. And I was like, ooh, that is a rough line. Nefesheh Shabbos nefesheh lukisz nefesheh Shabbos So the only difference is that naturally in the Jewish world we do have the ability to overcome, where there has to be a learned, something learned, something that's role modeled and then it becomes a behavior. How do we get there? We'll see, but it's a good question. I didn't answer your question yet. Toviyev. Could we get another conversion? No, definitely not, because we're not into making Gentiles into Jews. Gentiles should remain Gentiles and Gentiles have a place all over my bar and we don't proselytize for that reason. Sam, so far so good? I

Aran I don't know if you're familiar with like, but I remember a couple years ago when I was young, they did a classic lesbian champ Deish right there. And then suddenly this is all, this Rebbe's reign is sort of a whole hour and a half thing, like every single thing you do in life is purely for self-retrievance. I know the speech you're talking about is called the Five Levels of Pleasure. The Five Levels of Pleasure has become one of the most distorted shearum you'll ever hear. I believe that when the Five Levels of Pleasure shear is delivered properly, it's exceptionally powerful. Most people misunderstood what Rav Nahyach meant when he said the Five Levels of Pleasure shear, Nitzotzos

Riv Nach said that this version is very distorted. And in fact, I would argue that that distorted version is a terrible shear to give because really what you're saying is serve God for your own needs. Uneach Mett usai, just so that you have it clear, what Uneach actually said was as follows. Uneach Mett is a very, very dynamic, charismatic, charismatic individual and he created a real empire of Kirivan and Barch HaShamitit. There are a lot of very beautiful things about Aisha. Pira Kirevan Barach HaShammiteh

The pleasure goes up. So it looks something like this. The lowest level would be physical because that's all about you. The second level would be love, right? Because that's the beginning of another, right? Then there's purpose, right? That's obviously higher than yourself. Then there's creativity, the most godly dimension within yourself. And then there's the transcendent God Himself. And you can show how the pleasure goes up from there. And you are a highly attuned pleasure machine. Teshim Your Job in Life is to Pursue Pleasure. He said your job in life is to pursue God. You see how this subtle distinction makes it go from narcissistic to non-narcissistic? The problem is most people are presenting these things in a very narcissistic way. And I'll tell you the truth. I myself, at some point in my life, didn't have, until I really started learning chassid as well, I didn't have that distinction.

And what happens is that as long as it's all about your pleasure, it will only last as long as the activity is pleasurable. This is a conversation Stanley and I were having this morning. If it's all about me, so then what happens? The second I don't want it, the activity drops. So for example, we spoke about, are you married to your wife or are you married to marriage? Because you think you're married to your wife. But then the thing is, if I'm married to my wife, what happens when my wife is acting in a way that I don't really like? The answer is I'll drop her. So Manus Friedman speaks about, in chassidus, There's a concept of before you're married to a person, you have to commit to marriage. Now it's only a question of once I'm committed to marriage, who can I be married with? And now once the marriage isn't going the way I want it to, that's not the end, what is that?

That's the beginning. If I'm committed to marriage, when do I test the loyalty? When I don't really want to do it anymore. Now I really know that I'm married. Yichat is a huge distinction. In relationships, that's what real connection comes from. And then the second tour of the progression. Jesus couldn't place an old boundary. First of all, it's very hard to know today exactly what Jesus did or didn't believe, because so much of this just comes from Paul, which took place 30 years after Jesus died. He wasn't a Christian. He wasn't a Christian. Well, there was no such thing as Christianity when Jesus was alive. He didn't necessarily... yeah, that's a good question. I understand what you're saying. If not saying good person, but somebody who wasn't a bad person, be like a simple bo'rozaro. So it's an interesting thing that you're saying, because the Rambam Inig Yes, again, it's like Muhammad had an epileptic seizure and now he's become a civil war.

You don't have to die before converting to Islam. You should convert to Islam before dying. That's correct. That was written in that letter from the Ramban. That's where he passed in that Allah. I'm not going to discuss it now, but I will tell you this. If you look in the Torah sources and the refiner says a whole shear on it, I give a shiur on Christmas coming up in December, I'll give you that shear in Christmas. If you look at the rabbinic sources as to who Jesus was and how Jesus went off the dais, very, very interesting. He was actually chased away by a Rebbe, believe it or not. Very interesting story, we're not going to get into it right now. He was with His Rebbe and He was staying in a particular inn. His Rebbe I believe was being chased by the Romans. They were staying in a particular inn.

And the Rebbe said something very nice about the woman who was the innkeeper. And then Jesus commented that she was Yefeh Yinaim. And the Rebbe understood that what Jesus was saying was something about her physical beauty, whereas what the Rebbe was speaking about was her inner beauty. As a result, he pushed Jesus away and then Jesus tried several times to come back and do teshuva. The Rebbe kept pushing him away until the final time, where the Rebbe was going to accept him, but he was in the middle of saying krioshma. Jesus understood that he was pushed away and he left. The Rebbe went chasing after him, but by the time he caught up to them he had already become a maisse me diach. He had brought other people off the deck and it was a whole complicated story. It was an amazing sicha from the L'Bab Tureb, I can show you on it. He speaks about... you have to make sure to be a person who hears the cries of a child Not in the realm of Christianity?

It was before him. He was on the 5 levels of the pleasure. Being committed to marriage is supposed to be committed toeka Hertenni What first question is that? Are you committed to marriage? Is that a committee committed to something you own yourself? Nitzotzos Rav Baruch teshuva m Nitzotzos Rav Baruch teshuva Mevaseret chazam Nitzotzos Rav Baruch teshuva Mevaseret chazam Nitzotzos Why yes. Wait, what did you say you're not going to want to or is that going to be appropriate? It wouldn't be appropriate. I know, it's all about share. Forget about share for a second. Let's just, we'll get to share in a minute, but let's just stay on it for one second. What's the problem with expanding the pool when it comes to dating? People get very nervous about it. So you mean I can marry like tons of people?

Wouldn't that be a good thing? Because they want to be special. They want to be like a special person. Yeah, because everyone thinks that they're looking for some Disney love, right? The truth of the matter is, it's an awesome thing to expand the pool. We come from this distorted background where we say, the potential people that you can marry. I would think that would be inappropriate. Because if you're not, for example, as my reviews will say, if you're not attracted to the person, right? I mean, there are certain basic characters. Well, that's the point. Basically. I think that the same question that he's asking, it's like a follow up on that, is that your decision for marriage should be driven more by your intellect rather than your emotions. No, I wouldn't say that because emotions are a part of the family. Meaning if you don't have an emotional attachment to the person, you're not going to be able to build with them.

Let's say you have an emotional attachment with the person but you're not ridiculously attached to them physically. So you know it's an interesting thing many years ago the family Rashi Qaaba's always knew like, there's no way he prepared that. Right? So one time he gave a Sicha on dating and marriage. And he would say things that were like, like He had, I guess he wasn't a Sicha had he hadn't like prepared it wasn't like this big Rasseelah ancient buildup. Right? So he started saying things that were like, not inappropriate, but things like you wouldn't expect Rashi B'Risei. So I'll never make it, he goes, you know guys, you have to be attracted to your wife. I mean, she doesn't have to be a tit. An eight can become a tit. Rebbe is a 4th man, but a 4th is not going to become an 8th. You can't marry a 4th. Not everybody is a 10th like my wife.

And everyone is like, oh my god, he went on a total rant and he was describing. Listen, sometimes you just know that's a 4th. That's not a girl you want to bring home. You don't want to show anyone you're with a 4th. And everyone is like, oh my god, Rebbe, please stop. This is terribly funny because it's like this... I was like 10th in front of the whole issue. Who is the star? We knew whenever we went on stories about his wife, we knew it was going to be awesome. He met his wife when she was a bartender. I'll tell you back in the day when the Yeshiva used to serve alcohol on Purim so she would mix the drinks and it was good. I got wrecked on Purim because of her. I was never a big alcohol drinker. And they put out this fruit punch in Yeshiva. It turned out that she would take absolute citron, which is like absolute vodka.

Abhavadka She would put in all these fruits, apples, bananas, pears, oranges, and she had it frozen for a month, all this absolute with all these fruits. So then by the time a month later came, basically the fruit itself was alcoholic. So you could eat the apples and it was getting... So I didn't know it tasted like fruit punch because it was so saturated. So you have a cup of that and you're gone. You drink a cup of vodka, I just like drink a cup of fruit punch. So they found me, my dorm was all the way in the back. There's a tree in the very back of the campus and the guys really came looking for me and they found me asleep on the tree with my key in the tree. I've been trying to open it up. I thought it was my door. I blame her. Hada yoma za.

What is your name? Is this your alcohol to the words of birth? Hashem HaShkafah By the way, I want you to know I had a friend of mine. Today is a Chachar Rebbe. In Yeshavun Yeshavu Nishalayim. And he was a guy who was like he went to MTA in 9th grade and then he switched out of MTA, went to heller for the summer, and switched to Teshuf R S How do you know you've never dated a girl before in your life? How do you know? You can date 10 other girls. Maybe you're gonna be someone better.

So you look at me and he goes, what is wrong with you? It's like I found gold in my backyard. Why would I go looking somewhere else? Because I was so broken. I was part of this system where I was thinking, yeah, but how do you know you can't do better? How do you know you can't do better? How do you know you can't do better? You just made the rest of your life with somebody and you wanted to be somebody that like... So how will you know? Let's say you dated 20 girls. Maybe the 21st is gonna be better. So then date 30 girls. What about the 31st? What do you think about being one, then you don't even have a second one to compare to? Khajan Zorach Hach. Right, as long as it's something you guys can build towards together. And you can't do that if you don't have an emotional connection to your wife. But if this guy has an emotional connection after dating one girl, why does he have to challenge that? Yeah?

The reason it seems like it feels like it's a problem is why do you get the bull? Because it opens up the potential for marrying someone that in the long run isn't suitable for you. Why does it open up the potential more if I'm dating one girl, or if I can only marry one girl, if I can marry 20 girls? Either way, you're not going to know the difference. Right? Let's say you're only going to marry one girl. Right? I hope it's true. Let's say you say, there's only one girl that you could possibly marry. Well, how do you know if you ever found her? That's crazy. Right? But if you say you can marry 30 girls or 40 girls or 50 girls, that's awesome. And whether or not you spend the rest of your life with them, that's purely a function of how hard you work to spend the rest of your life with them. Is that the third case? What was that? Guys, it's hard for me to hear. What? I don't think a certain thing was deep down, personality, that could arise and call the commentator of marriage.

And that's not true if you dated 20 girls and you think there's only one? How? Because with more options, like with... Okay, I feel very pressured. I mean, it's crappy, it's okay, just make a logical argument. It's not a fully logical argument, it's just, right, a integrity. Okay, but it's kind of a mathematical argument. Is it a bit more potential for your job? If there is a girl in the world that's the best one for you, you'll have a better chance to find her if you date more girls. Not dating all the girls, I'm saying two versus one. Right. So why two and not three? It's not, I'm not saying like, you know, you're dating an infinite amount. Why not? Because you all have time for that. So let me understand this right. You've been dating for a couple years and you go look, I can't do this forever. But of all the girls I've dated so far, you're number one. Now if I dated for a while longer, maybe I'd find someone who'd beat you, but right now you're good. I'd say like, exactly romantic. I'd say a choice of four is a good amount to choose from. Unless you have an intense amount of time.

Rafi says 4. Just because I feel like if I don't give a number it's like you're going to keep saying 105. There's a lot of things that go into a shof. But after that, yeah, there's probably a lot of girls that you can marry that are going to have a lot of those qualities. And it doesn't matter who you marry. It sounds crazy, but within that pool it really doesn't matter. By the way, the only thing that's proof is people lose their spouse's chassosom where people get divorced. You know what happens? They get remarried. How? Because it's possible to marry more than one person. Or was it that they just didn't make the first two?

Shabbat Al-Jeba Roshan Devorced? Again, not always, and there is a place for divorce. But sometimes once these people get divorced and they get out of their own box, they realize, shoot, I didn't have to get divorced to begin with. There's a rub in the five towns who told me that the job today of a rub in many communities is consoling divorced women who wish they never got divorced. Because, like, we could have made it work, we just got stuck in our own box. Only the women. No. But generally the men seem to recover faster, which is a tragedy in and of itself.

Rosh Hashem Shabbat I'm not going to answer your question directly because I don't want to put things in labels and boxes in communities, but I will say this. When I was young, I used to have this argument We're going to be talking about a man who was married with my friends who were more right wing. I would say guys when you get married, you have no idea how to talk to your wife. I'm sitting here, I'm talking to girls. I know how to talk to girls. I don't even understand what you guys are going to do. You've never spoken to a girl in your life. And this one guy who was the same guy, this guy who got married to the first girl, Arhasham was a beautiful, happy marriage. He was the one that said to me, because he was living like he was a dormer in Yeshiva, Farakway.

So he said to me, he goes, well let's think about it. He goes, what's your role model for what a relationship looks like? The way you talk to your high school girlfriend. What's my role model for how a relationship looks like? The way I see my Rebbe and my Rashi Shabbah talking to their wives. And in the end, what I learned was he was more right than I was. It was true that perhaps I had developed certain natural skills of talking to women, which no doubt were helpful in dating. But a relationship by definition means exclusivity. And I had been in relationships that weren't exclusive in the sense that like I was dating one girl but friends with five others, right? And so the sneeze of the relationship was lacking. One of the hardest parts about getting married is learning not to treat your wife like your high school girlfriend.

Especially because I dated my wife in high school. We dated for a while in high school and then we dated again, I shouldn't have bet. When we got married, I was like, oh, this is totally different. And that's a big adjustment. I'd much rather, if I had the choice, I would much rather, if I could go back and do it all over again, which I could say I can't, but I can for my kids, I would definitely raise my children in a way that the interaction between the sexes was more limited because, like I said, I think that a lot of us grew up in a very distorted notion of what a relationship looks like because it's a high school girlfriend thing. It's not a true, it's not the connection of exclusivity. But it was a technical problem. And I want to finish up the piece of Tanya and the Muldavah Marv. It was a technical problem and you talk to a lot of guys and they're like, yeah, it's a problem.

They just don't know how to get out of it. What happens to all those girls that you're friends with when you get married? What's the game plan there? They come to your chasna? What's the game plan? When they're dating and they had a bad day or they just got dumped or they just broke up with someone that they really care about and you're the go-to friend that they've always gone to and now you're married, do you spend hours on the phone with them consoling them? Yes, you're conferencing with your wife. What's that? There's some conferencing with your wife. Except when it doesn't happen, right? And then it's like all of a sudden really awkward and your wife is like, why are you Are you on the phone with that girl for hours or you are married to me. No, obviously it's not happening, I'm just talking to her. I get it but its weird, right? And you know its weird because I hope that you don't have parents who like have women that call up your dads or men that call up your moms and just schmooze for hours on end.

And the reason you would think that would be weird would be because why would you do that? Like you're married to each other. Guys, when do you think that split happens right? I had this, he was the guy who always said, okay I'm going to stop talking to girls, but I can't stop talking to these three. Like Rebbe, they're my best friend. I totally hear that. I just don't know how it's going to play out for you. And he got engaged and he was like, I cannot invite them to the wedding. That's way too weird. I'm like, well congratulations. Now what are you going to do? I'm engaged. Nice to know you. How does that work? It's really painful. Really, really a painful thing. Something to think about. Okay. Shabbat B'alayhi wa sallam. I just wish you could get it in last. Yeah. You can all continue. It's not more pleasant being on the other end. Okay.

We got derailed. Let's finish up this last chapter. Okay? I apologize. I'm sorry we got derailed. Okay. Shammi mena bose middas tovash min'evash habahamash Shabbat B'yisra. As we said earlier, the difference between a Jew and a Gentile is that a Jew, even Even on the level of Nefesheh Has the capacity for goodness means to prioritize someone else over yourself. Behi bechina muzzas bein sholosh klippos sautamaos ligamre Ubein bechina madreiges hakadosho where does klippas noga fall? It falls as an intermediary stage. We have Kedosho on the one hand, right? And that is transparent godliness. Shlosh Kripos Hatameyos and Kripa's Noga is in the middle. Okay? G'lach hain and therefore, pamem shei nachlal es bish shlosh Kripa's Hatameyos. There will be times that it's part of shlosh Kripa's Hatameyos. Upamem shei nachlal v'olv v'olv bibbachinos madre gazakadushah. So this parv, Kripa's Noga, it is transitory. Sometimes it will be elevated and it will move into the realm of Kadusha and sometimes because of its proximity to Shloshu Tippus Lattameyos, as we will discuss how this works, it goes over to that side.

So it could be, one second let me just finish this up and then I'll get to your question, it could be in one of two places. Dachainu Shahat Tov Amurubba, this baramayara, vegov v'ov v'v'nichl bekluisha. How does it transcend from Tippas Noga and enter into the realm of Kadusha? When you're Mevare, what does Avodas Habibiririm mean, Sammy? The art of clarification. When you clarify the noga, you take the tove out. If you only access the tove, then you've moved it into the realm of kedusha. So, kleep as noga is to sum up. It is a middle category between, between what, Rebosai? Between kedusha and shlosch kribasat meos.
