Rabbinic counseling

A conversation, in private

For individuals and couples working through dating, marriage, parenting, or the quieter struggles of avodas Hashem. All conversations are over Zoom, wherever you are.

How it works

Rav Burg meets a small number of people each week for one-on-one rabbinic counseling, so there may be a wait for a first conversation. It is not therapy and it is not a shiur. It is a place to bring a real situation, think it through with someone who holds Torah and psychology together, and leave knowing your next step.

People come about

  • Dating and shidduchim: attraction, doubt, when to decide, when to walk away
  • Marriage and shalom bayis, including engagement and the first years
  • Parenting, especially teenagers and children in or back from Israel
  • Faith that has gone quiet, guilt and shame, burnout in avodas Hashem
  • Big decisions: learning, career, aliyah, which Rebbe, which path

Everything you share is confidential.
