Nitzotzos was founded on one simple but powerful idea: spiritual growth does not end when we leave Israel. Each of us carries a nitzotz—a spark of holiness—within, but a spark only remains alive when it is continually nurtured. Nitzotzos exists to help that spark grow into a steady, living flame.
Nitzotzos is a learning platform and community for thoughtful, growth-oriented Ovdei Hashem who are committed to continuing their inner work long after formative years of learning have ended. It is a space for deep Torah, honest self-reflection, and sustained spiritual development—grounded in real life, real struggles, and real relationships with Hashem.

At the heart of Nitzotzos are the teachings of Rav Mordechai Burg, Menahel of Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Tzion. Rav Burg is also a senior lecturer at Ba’er Miriam, Bnot Torah Institute, and Tomer Devorah, and is a widely sought-after speaker and author known for his ability to integrate profound Torah depth with psychological insight, emotional clarity, and a deeply human understanding of growth.
Through his shiurim, Rav Burg offers a Torah that speaks not only to the mind, but to the inner life of a person—their beliefs, fears, aspirations, and relationship with Hashem. His approach has helped countless students translate lofty ideas into lived avodah.
